Zone 3 of Chicken Con Carnage is where your destructive abilities paired with your knowledge of chain collecting Fire Flyers is put to the test! Nimbus assigns Zephyr with the task of capturing 50 Fire Flyers hiding within the area along with returning to the L.O.A.D. STARR before the time runs out. An ideal tornado size for completing this portion is size eight, as it'll allow you to chain collect a large number of Fire Flyers at once. Start off by collecting the oinking pigs near the starting section of the zone. This'll gradually fill up the Category Level's meter. Once you're done, head towards the small cornfield that consists of two scarecrows hiding within both sides. You can choose to demolish the cornfield and capture the two Fire Flyers hiding within the scarecrows, or you can choose to destroy the cornfield and wait until you're larger.
The majority of the area is cluttered with Fire Flyers, so you'll want to grow large as you possibly can before you attempt to chain collect multiple Fire Flyers. Where you will choose to initiate the grab move will vary. The most easiest spot is near the small hill surrounded in sheep near the farmhouse. In this route, you start off by moving straight before circling around the farmhouse as you capture Fire Flyers. This method balances the destruction and collection of Fire Flyers when you're a smaller tornado, but drastically gives you a large amount of Fire Flyers to chain collect when you're larger.
Alternatively, starting near the hangar is another method of chain collecting Fire Flyers. You'll start by initiating the grab move to capture the Fire Flyers hiding within the little red tractor as you push your way forward by utilizing the Fire Flyer's speed boost while chain collecting. A size eight tornado is required for this method, but it'll guarantee that you'll be able to collect the minimum number of 50 Fire Flyers with ease.

Chicken Con Carnage is the second level in Tornado Outbreak. Like Roadside Destruction, it serves as a tutorial level for the player.

Plot

Zephyr and Nimbus head to Happy Sunrise Chicken Farm in the Midwest USA following the destruction of Route 66. At the farm, Nimbus trains Zephyr in the basics of transforming into a small tornado. Zephyr grows in size within a fenced area and destroys a barn and is then tasked with destroying a large silo.

While demolishing the silo, Zephyr and Nimbus discover a group of Fire Flyers hiding in the rubble. They chase the Flyers out of the farm and into a campground. In the campground, Nimbus teaches Zephyr how to collect Fire Flyers and fill up the L.O.A.D. STARR's timer. They then return to the farm, where Zephyr rounds up all the Fire Flyers hidden within the area.

As they prepare to leave, they encounter a Totem emerging from the ground. Nimbus teaches Zephyr how to demolish a Totem by pummeling it, ending the level.

Mission Log

In the mission log, Zephyr documents his first encounter with the Fire Flyers. His Wind Warrior comrades consult to Zephyr for answers, but like them, he too is stumped. Zephyr's pondering is abruptly cut short as Nimbus notifies the team of the L.O.A.D. STARR detecting the presence of another orb belonging to Omegaton not far from their current destination.

Zephyr orders the Wind Warriors to move out as they venture towards the town of Ruckusville, where the orb resides within a water tower.

Destructible Objectives

Like Roadside Destruction, Chicken Con Carnage features a set of destroyable objectives required to advance to the next area. A barn in the first section and a silo in the second. This level is the final one to have objectives that can be destroyed, as the game now focuses on collecting Fire Flyers as the core gameplay mechanic

Barn

Zephyr and Nimbus land within a picket fenced area where he teaches Zephyr about growing in size. Players in this section start as a size zero tornado that's only capable of stripping the feathers off chickens. Use the chickens to your advantage, as they serve as one way of increasing Zephyr's tornado size.

The Category Level meter will fill up after a few chickens are stripped, increasing Zephyr's size to one. At size one, Zephyr can pick up small objects within the fenced area. To further increase Zephyr's size, approach the featherless chickens with the tornado.

When you reach size two, Zephyr will be able to destroy the picket fence, allowing him to explore the rest of the farm.

Silo

Zephyr is instructed to once again grow in size to destroy a large structure. However, there is a catch this time. Being the first instance of a timed mission, players will need to quickly grow Zephyr's tornado from a size one tornado to size ten.

Training Campground

The Training Campground serves as the introduction of the grab move. The tasks start off simple ranging from simply uncovering a Fire Flyer to intermediate, as the level teaches players the basics of capturing Fire Flyers, chain collecting Fire Flyers, along with refilling the L.O.A.D. STARR's timer.
