Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine/Walkthrough

Scenario Mode

The scenario mode consists of 13 stages of the various robots, and eventually Dr. Robotnik. At the end of each stage, you are given a password that allows you to start the game on a specific stage as desired.

To start a given level, enter the password that you receive at the end of the level. This password changes based on difficulty level, and is also different in the Game Gear version.

Frankly						Quickly builds a row of four beans for combo purposes.
Humpty						Organizes beans neatly and eliminates them quickly, rarely performing combos.
Coconuts						Quickly builds bean towers on the left and right.
Davy Sprocket						Eliminates same-colored beans quickly and performs few combos, meanwhile building bean towers on left and right.
Skweel						Spreads beans out for a low field. Pile up the Refugee beans, combo after combo, so he doesn't have a chance to recover.
Dynamight						Sets up large combos. Begin a combo before him to send Refugee beans his way and mess up his flow.
Grounder						Drops beans and matches them quickly.
Spike						Builds many short combos.
Sir F-Fuzzy Logik						Builds towers with short combos.
Dragon Breath						Builds combos on left and right and shakes the board.
Scratch						Sets up large combos quickly.
Dr. Robotnik						Beans fall at an extremely high speed.

Puzzle Mode

Puzzle mode is available in the Game Gear version.

1	N/A	Drop a blue bean in the middle to eliminate all red beans.
2		Eliminate 10 beans by dropping a red bean on the left. This causes the obvious combo to be complete.
3		Eliminate the red beans by removing any bean chain near the black bean.
4		Eliminate 3 waves of beans. Place a Yellow/Blue bean on top of the central column (rotate yellow to the bottom), and place a red/yellow across the top, red on the center. (Mirror images also work)
5		Let 10 pairs drop in. This takes a few attempts, but place your starting beans on the side and try to build a chain with the limited room available.
6		About to claim 11 beans Eliminate 11 beans at a time. Place two vertical bean columns on three side columns, and a horizontal on the outer two columns. On the other side, place a horizontal on the inner two columns.
7		Eliminate 4 waves of beans.
8		Eliminate all beans. You only receive red or blue beans, so be careful not to get them stuck under the green beans.
9		Avoid clearing out the green beans on top; go for the lower cluster of pink beans first. Clear out the column of four clear beans after taking out the lower pink beans to get all blue beans in a line.
10		Eliminate all beans by guiding the double red around the blue platform on top.
11		Eliminate 5 waves of beans. To set off the chain, remove the clear bean on the right, and drop the yellow bean at the right of the stack.
12		Eliminate all beans. You start with one red and always get red/yellow chains. Build a column of three reds, then stack a yellow/red on the yellow column
13		Eliminate 4 waves of beans.
14		Eliminate Refugee beans.
15		Eliminate 5 waves of beans. Drop beans to the right first.
16		Eliminate 9 beans at a time. Drop green beans to the right until you're able to pull off a combo.
17		Eliminate 4 waves of beans. You only get red beans. Work on the right wall first, then the center to take down the Refugee beans from the bottom.
18		Eliminate 5 waves of beans. Only red beans again. Take down the bottom circle first by moving the first pair to the left of it, under the top bunch.
19		Eliminate all red beans. You are only given yellow, green, and blue beans.
20		Eliminate all beans. The only drops are red beans, aside from one yellow bean in the second set. Drop the red beans horizontally all the way to the left, then move the next set of beans to the right, connecting the yellow bean to create a chain reaction. Drop the red beans to eliminate the Refugees, creating another combo that leaves only red beans to eliminate.
21		Eliminate 18 waves of beans. Drop the pink bean onto the other pink beans to start up a massive combo.
22		Eliminate all red beans. Start off by eliminating the pink beans.
23		Eliminate all red beans. Start off by eliminating the green beans.
24		Eliminate 11 waves of beans.
25		Eliminate 18 beans at a time. Pile a group of like-colored beans on the red bean, then set it off to create a combo.
26		Eliminate 18 beans at a time. You start with a clear screen, and are only given two colors.
27		Eliminate all blue beans. Start with the left. Get rid of the Refugee bean here, then focus on the high red beans and lastly, the right.
28		Eliminate 5 waves of beans. You are only given red beans.
29		Eliminate 5 waves of beans.
30		Eliminate 7 waves of beans.
