Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit source]

Hello Dragons rose0483! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums.

Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. When making an edit, proofread your changes at least once by using the preview button below the editing box. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 21:03, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Easier editing[edit source]

The Show preview button (right next to the Save page button) lets you see how your changes will look before saving the page. You can use Show preview as many times as you like until you get the page how you want it. You can also edit the whole page at one time, as opposed to by section, by clicking the Edit tab at the top of the page. Hopefully these little shortcuts will make it easier for you to get the desired result when you're editing, and save you a little time. Thanks for working on the wiki! — najzereT 23:50, 21 December 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Neutral point of view[edit source]

Guides are open for anyone to edit, and to accomodate multiple authors we've decided to use a neutral point of view, meaning content should be written in the third person, with no opinions and a somewhat professional tone. Please keep this in mind as you're editing, and try to avoid words like "I" or "we", or use of slang or non-factual information. Thanks for helping us keep our guide pages polished! — najzereT 23:30, 6 January 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi, this is a reminder to please avoid using the first-person voice. This means words like "we" and "let's" don't belong on guide pages. Thanks! — najzereT 22:09, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Eternal Sonata[edit source]

Just wanted to say good work on the guide :)

I'm assuming you are writing from the PS3 version - it's great to get as much coverage as we can. However, I want to point out that some chest items are different in the 360 version. If you come across an item that doesn't match with what I have added it might be a good idea to double check before changing it.

I'm hoping to get the rest of the chapters added at some point. I have my guide all written out, I just need to get round to typing it up! --Minx 22:01, 10 January 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks. I am writing from the PS3 Version and I wasn't realized that some of the chest items were different in different versions. I will make sure to double check from now on. You don't happen to have anything on the Lament sections, do you?Dragons rose0483 17:59, 11 January 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Preload buttons[edit source]

The preload buttons.

In order to keep pages on the wiki neat and uniform, we employ certain formatting and templates to help us accomplish this. When creating a new page, please use one of the preload buttons located above the edit text box, which will insert the needed templates and formatting for you. Thanks for keeping the wiki organized! — najzereT 22:09, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi, just a reminder to use the preload buttons when making new pages. Pages within a guide should have a {{Header Nav}} as well as a {{Footer Nav}} for both navigation and categorization purposes. Thanks, — najzereT 17:17, 30 January 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Copyright infringement[edit source]

Hi, I just removed this content from Eternal Sonata/Tristesse, as it appears to have been copied from this FAQ. Please don't plagiarize others' work – this notice is right below the Save page button every time you edit a page. If you want to use someone else's work, you need to get their permission first. If you are the author of the FAQ, you can send me an e-mail from the account shown in the document so I can verify it. Thanks, — najzereT 16:59, 2 February 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
