Death Prophet is a ranged intelligence hero who is usually played as a pusher, a support and occasionally a semi-carry. She can summon a Crypt Swarm to damage her enemies. Her Silence will seal the mouths of whispering spellcasters. Her Witchcraft increases the potency of her spells. She can also use Exorcism, summoning tons of spirits to siege towers and attack her enemies.

Crypt Swarm[edit | edit source]

Crypt Swarm unleashes a wave of bats at the targeted unit or area, damaging all enemies in its path. It is a pretty spammable damage spell for taking down heroes. It is also a good spell for killing creep waves, helping you push.

  • Cooldown: 15

Silence prevents enemies caught in the targeted area from casting spells for a short period. It is a basic disable, but a really good one, especially on spellcasters.

Witchcraft improves all of your spells as well as giving you a small movement speed bonus. The cooldown and mana cost of Crypt Swarm and Silence will be reduced, allowing you to use them more often. It also increases the number of spirits created during Exorcism, letting you do even more damage. A useful ability since it directly benefits your other abilities.

Exorcism lets loose a bunch of spirits that move around unpredictably damaging enemy units and structures. It lasts for 30 seconds, after which you will be healed for a quarter of the damage dealt. It is a very potent pushing ability, lasting for so long and dealing a lot of damage to buildings. The heal also helps you survive in tough pushes.
